TICKLEBELLY HILL, by Hilda Osborne

      My Photography

When I see the wonder of God's creation, I want to capture it and hold it forever.  A picture serves as a mere token of remembrance, for the splendor of creation could never be contained in a simple photographic representation.  But I try...

These are a few of my favorites.  Please view and enjoy these photographs, but remember - they are copyright protected.  Please do not make any copies in any form without my written permission.

      Mountain Stream

One of my favorite places to take pictures is in the Great Smoky Mountains.  This photo captures a free-flowing stream on a bright, sunny day.  I chose it to use on the cover of my book, "Ticklebelly Hill, Grandparents Raising Grandchildren."

      Rainbows

Following a night of storms, we were treated to this magnificent view of double rainbows.

      Color on the Lake

The rainbow paints the surface of the lake after a night of storms.

      Color in the Trees

Color touches the trees just across the lake after a night of storms.

      Yellow Flower

Incredible beauty can be found at our feet, in the form of a wild flowering weed, if we will only take the time to look down.

      Green Burst

From the right angle, this little weed becomes a glorious burst of green.

      Mossy Stream

Moss covers the rocks and trees at this untouched spot in the Smoky Mountains.

      Cades Cove

Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains is one of my favorite places to spend the day.
